Full Circle

I hurt you, you broke me.

I saved you, you cursed me.

Why do we keep doing this?

Battling against this love.

You tell me that you aren't his,

But your hand sure fits his glove.

You hurt me, crushed me,

Left me nearly alone,

But I’ve found that, you see,

I AM what makes my home.

And since you've gone and left,

And torn my name to shreds,

I hope you've recollected,

All the memories in the threads.

I've found what makes me happy.

I've done all that I can,

To change my past patterns.

To become a better man.
